1st/2nd—We went over the practice test and then took the real test. Remember “Choosing the Correct the Operation” & Tile Puzzle are due 12/17.
3rd/4th—We went over the review for the semester exam. I passed out the test so they would have a chance to see the test. We will finish the test Monday. 3rd period will finish going over the review first. Remember “Choosing the Correct the Operation” & Tile Puzzle are due 12/17.
1st/2nd—We did 281(20-25 for bellwork. We went over these on the board as a review for the quiz. We took the quiz over chapter 6 lessons 7-9. We will take the chapter 6 test tomorrow after we go over the homework. The homework is a practice test of chapter 6.
3rd/4th—We went over Chp 5 Cumulative Review. We worked on Standardized Test Practice in groups and turned it in for a grade. We started on the review from the text. They received a list of problems from the text that should help out for the Semester Exam. We will start the semester exam tomorrow after going over the chapter 5 test, homework, and Standardized Test Practice. We will finish it Monday.
1st/2nd—We went over converting measurements within the Customary System. We will have a quiz over all operations with fractions. Complete puzzle C-69 for homework. we will go over several of these problems before the quiz.
3rd/4th—We did 249-251 for bellwork as a review for the test on Wednesday. We will take a quiz over lessons 5.5-5.8 tomorrow. It will look remarkably a lot like p248. We will have the chapter 5 test Wednesday. We will also have a semester test covering chapters 1-5 on Friday(maybe–we may wait until next week to review more)
1st/2nd— We worked on all operations with fractions. We had lessons on Perimeter/Area & Circumference. We will continue with these skills next week.
3rd/4th— We finished up chapter 5. We had lessons over Percent of Change & Simple Interest. We will review chapter 5 next week and take the test Wednesday 12/10.
1st/2nd—We did workbook 6-3 for bellwork. We went over multiplying fractions and worked on a puzzle involving this skill. We made sure everyone had their fraction packet. The fraction packet is due Wednesday. We will also have a quiz over adding/subtracting fractions on Wednesday.
HOMEWORK: work on fraction packet–SHOW WORK!!!!!!!!!
3rd/4th—We did 224(1-20) for bellwork. We will have a Mid-Chapter Quiz Wednesday covering these same skills. We went over Percent & Estimation(5-5). We worked on p230(11-36).
