ALL CLASSES—-We did our 2nd ThinkLink Test.

HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

1st/2nd—We continued adding/subtracting fractions. We worked on the homework assignment for the majority of the period. ThinkLink 2nd test is tomorrow.

HOMEWORK: “Lost Jobs” worksheet

3rd/4th— We memorized some percent to fraction equivalents and took a quick practice quiz. The real quiz will be Tuesday, December 2nd. We went over computing percent of a number mentally. 

HOMEWORK: workbook 5-4

1st/2nd—We went over adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. We added to our homework from last night with a puzzle covering these topics.

3rd/4th— We went over the homework. We worked on word problems and enrichment problems covering the percent proportion and changing percents to fractions to decimals.

ENJOY THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

1st/2nd—-We went over the practice test that we worked on in groups. We completed the chapter 5 test. We will begin chapter 6 tomorrow—all operations with fractions.

3rd/4th—- We went over the practice test that we completed in groups. We completed the chapter 4 test. We will begin chapter 5 tomorrow—percents.

1st/2nd—-We did 222(12-18) even. We wrote stats as decimals, fractions, & percents then put them in order from least to greatest. We worked on 230(31-34, 37-42, 54-55). We will review this tomorrow and take a short quiz. The chapter 5 test will be tuesday in order to give us plenty of review time.

HOMEWORK: workbook 5-7 & 232(1-63)

3rd/4th—-We did 198(1-31). We went over the Word Problems 4.3 thru 4.6. This took the whole time so we will review tomorrow and Monday and probably start the chapter 4 test Monday and finish it Tuesday.

1st/2nd—We did 236(1-9) for bellwork. We went over fractions to decimals to percents. We will finish the chapter tomorrow and begin reviewing. The test will be Tuesday over chapter 5.

HOMEWORK: finish work from Friday–workbook 5-7 & p233-234(1-63)

3rd/4th— We did 201(1-16) for bellwork. We went over these problems then got in groups to complete 651(1-15). We will review more tomorrow and take the chapter 4 test Friday.

HOMEWORK: Finish word problems worksheets 4.3 thru 4.6 from Friday

1st/2nd—We immediately started the lesson on Least Common Multiple. We did 226(8-15). We also started on the homework which is Puzzle C-19.

3rd/4th—-We immediately started the lesson on Dilations. We did the Study Guide & Intervention worksheet for this lesson on the overhead. Homework is workbook 4-8.

1st/2nd—-We did Prime Factorization & GCF for bellwork. We reviewed Fractions-Decimals-Percents and took the quiz over this skill. 

3rd/4th —- We did 186(5-16) & 187(23-28) for bellwork. We went over Indirect Measurement.

HOMEWORK: 189(3-9)

                     A grade over Similar Figures & Scale Drawings will be tomorrow

1st/2nd period—-We did 223(44-58) for bellwork. We went over changing fractions to decimals to percents. We will continue this tomorrow and take a grade over it the last part of class.

Homework: workbook 5-5 & 5-6 (left column)

3rd/4th period—-We did 182(20-25) for bellwork. We went over Similar Figures & Scale Drawings. We will continue this tomorrow and start a quiz over these two things during the last part of class and finish it Thursday.
