I just realized I forgot to click on the publish button on the 26th. Sorry about that.

1st/2nd—-We did 51(10-15) for bell work. We took a few minutes to review for the vocabulary test. The test took longer than I thought it would so we will continue to review for the chapter test tomorrow and take it Thursday…….hopefully.

HOMEWORK: none 

3rd/4th—-We did 113(11-18) for bell work. We took a few minutes to review for the vocabulary test. We got in groups and worked on Chapter 2 Test;form 3. You should complete this for homework if your group did not complete it in class. We will continue to review tomorrow and will take the test Thursday.

HOMEWORK: chapter 2 test;form 3 (if not finished in class)  

1st/2nd—-We did 50(1-9) for bellwork. We went over the crossword puzzles as a review for the vocabulary test. The vocabulary test comes directly from the crossword puzzle clues. STUDY!!!!!!!! The chapter 1 test will be Wednesday. We will review more tomorrow and even a little on Wednesday before the test.

3rd/4th—-We did 112(1-10) for bellwork. We went over the word find to be ready for the vocabulary test tomorrow. Remember, it is a test. STUDY!!!!!!!! The chapter 2 test will be Wednesday. 

Sorry I missed yesterday. I’m sure your child was worried sick about me.

1st/2nd—-We did 49(11-25) for bellwork. We took a grade over 1.6-1.9 in groups. We will take the first ThinkLinkLearning test tomorrow.

HOMEWORK: p46-48  due Monday

3rd/4th—- We did 108(1-19) for bellwork. We went over Scientific Notation. I passed the quizzes back from yesterday and let the students correct any mistakes they may have made. Tomorrow we will take the first ThinkLinkLearning test. 

HOMEWORK: 648-649 due Monday

1st/2nd—-We did 41(45-54) for bellwork. We went over the homework involving the metric system & sequencing. There will be a grade tomorrow over these two lessons. Thursday there will be an EASY grade over the metric chart that we use to convert in the metric system. We have covered all the lessons in chapter 1. We will review the vocabulary for the chapter and take a test Friday(at the earliest). We will continue to review the chapter and (probably)take a small quiz Tuesday over lessons 1.6 to 1.9. The chapter test will be Wednesday.   

HOMEWORK: workbook 1-9

3rd/4th—-We did 620 lesson2.6(21-24) & 621 lesson2.7(22-27) for bellwork. We continued to review adding/subtracting rational numbers & solving equations. We will take a grade on these two lessons tomorrow. We worked on workbook 2-6 & 2-7 also. 

HOMEWORK: Be ready for the grade on lessons 2-6 & 2-7

1st/2nd—-We cleared our desk for bellwork and started right off the bat with a lesson on Sequences followed by a lesson on Metric System. We did 35(4-11) and 40(4-9) in class. Each class had about 20 minutes to work on their homework in class. They should complete whatever is left of the homework assignment.

HOMEWORK: workbook 1-7/1-8

3rd/4th—-We did 95(35-43) for bellwork. We did these on the board. We continued with 94(20-28)(32-34) from Friday. We compared answers with other students and then worked them on the board. We worked on workbook 2-7(odds) the rest of the period.

HOMEWORK: 97(4-14)

1st/2nd—-We did 33(43-51) for bellwork. We went over workbook 1-6. We took the Mid Chapter Quiz and began working on 598(1-16). 

3rd/4th—We did 90(11-25)odd on the board. We went over how to solve equations using inverse operations. We started working on 94(20-28, 32-34)

1st/2nd— We did 28(1-20) for bellwork. We will take a Mid Chp Test tomorrow over the same material as the bellwork. We discussed Properties and have homework from workbook 1-6. We also started on a Tile Puzzle which involves Guess-&-check problem solving.

3rd/4th—We did 85(38-44) for bellwork. We went over 86(1-20) as a review for the Mid-chp test–which we took today.  We also did an enrichment sheet on adding unlike fractions.

1st/2nd—We did 21(48-54) for bellwork. We went over a lesson on solving equations. We worked 26(4-9) together and began working on 26(14-28) even. 

HOMEWORK: 26(14-28)

3rd/4th—-We went over the homework-84(12-30) even- for bellwork. We worked them on the board. We took the Vocabulary Test for chapter 1…….again. We worked on 86(1-20) to get ready for the Mid-Chapter Quiz on Thursday. 

HOMEWORK: workbook 2-5(16-24)

1st/2nd period—-We did order of operation problems for bellwork and worked them on the board. We did a quick lesson on variables & expressions(putting numbers in for variables), completed 20(26-33), and worked them on the board. The students have “Puzzling Expressions”( a crossnumber puzzle) to complete for homework—NO CALCULATORS!!!!!!

3rd/4th period—- We did “Word Problems” 2-3 & 2-4 for bellwork. It took longer than I thought it would so we got in groups and worked them together. We went over the vocabulary crossword & word find from chapter 1. The vocabulary test tomorrow will come directly from those. This second test counts for everyone no matter what the grade. IF it helps the student to average the first grade with the second, then I will to help out on the FIRST test—-but the test tomorrow will remain as-is. 

HOMEWORK: 84(12-30) & vocabulary test.
