1st/2nd period—-We continued to work on p105(1-22). We covered (3-1)Integers & Absolute Value. Some students continued the diagnostic test from yesterday. Homework is to complete a rough draft of an illustration involving positive and negative situations (i.e. golf, altitude-plane/submarine, debt/profit…). We will complete the final draft in class. We will take two grades Friday. One over Integers & Absolute Value and the other over (3-2)Comparing & Ordering Integers.

3rd/4th period—-We continued work on 5(1-24). We covered a lesson on problem-solving. We solved a problem involving cows and chickens. We continued to work on the diagnostic test. Homework is to complete 1-1 PRACTICE:SKILLS worksheet. Show how you solved the problem. Friday we will take two grades–one over problem-solving, the other over (1-2)VARIABLES, EXPRESSIONS, & PROPERTIES.
