1st/2nd period—-We reviewed word problems on p133(6-14). We worked some order of operations problems and played Battleship.
3rd/4th period—-We reviewed word problems on p44(4-14). We worked some order of operations problems and played Battleship.

1st/2nd—- We worked on multiplying & dividing integers. We worked on word problems in groups and learned how to play an Order of Operations game.
3rd/4th period—- We did 57(1-30) for bellwork and did them on the board. We started working on a worksheet with word problems being written as equations. Finish this for homework please.

1st/2nd period—- We did p137(50-57) for bellwork. We worked in the workbook on multiplying and dividing integers. We started a puzzle involving addition, subtraction, & multiplication all mixed up.

3rd/4th period—- We worked in the workbook on writing expression and equations. We took the mid-chapter quiz and continued working on solving equations. We did p48(12-28) even & 52(14-30) even on the board.

1st/2nd period—- We took the grade over adding/subtracting integers. We continued to work on p133(6-14). We started the lesson on multiplying/dividing integers. We will spend the rest of the week putting it all together.

3rd/4th period—- We began the lesson on solving equations. We went ahead and did solving all operations equations. We talked about how equations are like a see-saw. We took a grade on al operations with integers.
HOMEWORK: Be ready for the Mid Chapter Test (lessons 1-5)
1st/2nd period—- We did p131(54-60) for bellwork. We worked on problem solving involving finding a pattern from page 133. We spent some time working on puzzle E-61/E-62. Tomorrow we will take a grade over adding and subtracting integers.
HOMEWORK: Spend 15-20 minutes working on E-61/E-62. Do not worry if you do not finish it in that time. i will expect these to be completed by Thursday.
3rd/4th period—- We did p32(1-20) for bellwork. This is good practice for the mid chapter quiz that will be Wednesday. We had a lesson over writing expressions & equations. We did p41(8-20) out of the book. The remainder was spent working on their homework.

1st/2nd period—-We had a lesson on subtracting integers. We worked some problems on the board and began a puzzle involving adding & subtracting integers.

3rd/4th period—-the lesson was over subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers. We put them all together and will continue to work with them next week. Some groups finished the Amazing Additions while the rest worked on a puzzle involving all operations with integers.

1st/2nd period—- We took the mid-chapter test for chapter 3. We worked on a puzzle involving adding integers. Most students finished it in class. If they did not finish in class, they need to finish it in class.
3rd/4th period—- We did p26(11-41) for bellwork. We got in groups and completed a Amazing Additions sheet. Some groups did not finish in class so those individuals need to work on the problems they have left at home. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND AN INORDINATE AMOUNT OF TIME ON THIS IF YOU GET STUMPED.
1st/2nd period—-We did p116(1-16) for bell work. Tomorrows quiz will cover these same concepts from chapter 3 lessons 1-3. We took notes on adding integers and will work on this concept tomorrow.
